Pete Stonehouse
My background in the graphics industry goes back to the early 1980’s; when a late friend of mine, Eamonn Lynch and I set up a small print shop. Situated at the back of a small bookshop in Digbeth, Birmingham; in those days artwork was done with ink pens, Letraset, spray mount, Tippex fluid and surgical scalpels!
I spent most of the 1990s as a full time parent; then undertook a degree in Virtual Reality Design, at the turn of the millenium. After achieving an upper second BSc (Hons) I went on to become an Architectural and Technical Illustrator. From 2005 my work has included designing shop fittings, preparing 3D files for manufacture, creating animations for English Heritage, designing high contrast and tactile museum information panels for blind and partially sighted people, as well as all manner of general graphic design and commercial art.
In 2013 I became involved in the world of print again, this time as an independent print broker, based in Wolverhampton. This means as well as supplying high quality printed products to my own clients, at very competitive rates; I can also provide the same to other designers, at wholesale prices.
